It was an exciting day being at the radio lab for the first time in my life. I felt like a professional radio broadcaster since it is something that I see my self doing in two years from now. I don't wanna lie that day made me feel proud and encouraged me to continue with Journalism as I developed love and became more passionate about it.

My first time at the radio lab. |
The lecturer Mr. Baloyi made us feel comfortable as he started by introducing broadcast journalism module to us and also tolled us about his experience as the lecture. What I like the most about him is that he said that we must not feel intermediated by other students as they are fluent with English and some are from wealth families. The day I will never forget in my life was when we were to do unprepared breakfast show presentation for the first time in a broadcast journalism module. If I remember very well it was the beginning of March when we had to come up with a topic to use as a content of the show. You could imagine us shaking and thinking of a topic with my group members.
Guess the time we were given to prepare ourselves, you wont believe that we were given fifteen minutes. In the fifteen minutes that we had, it started on a power struggle where each and everyone in the group wanted his/her topic to be used for the show. Luckily we did not waste much time on the struggle, after some couple of minutes we all agreed on choosing the topic that was suitable for us all.
It was a good experience even though we weren't prepared but we tried our best and did the presentation. All I can say is that when having a solid ethical core about something, definitely sure that thing will be of success.
